1972 CHEVROLET BLAZER, EXTERIOR.

This 72 Blazer is painted in a 3-stage stunning deep pearl white. When you have it in the sun the colors really dance, and it is an amazing combo with the pinstriping, chrome, and polished trim. The pictures speak for themselves... The paint job is about seven years old so it is not perfect, but as it is this is a show truck and has two classic auto show trophies to prove it. (Trophies will be included in the sale of course.)

This Blazer is currently set up as a “roadster,” meaning that it is run with the fiberglass top off. The holes in the bed rails have been welded up and painted over to add to roadster finish. I am including a hard to find “single wall top” in the sale, if the new owner chooses to run with the top on. Personally I really like the way these trucks look both with and without the top, so my plan was to restore mine and install it using some form of “snugtop” truck topper clamps. Of course running a topless Blazer is really what makes it unique - and this helps to keep track of all the stares, "thumbs up" and "beautiful truck" comments you will be getting. Warm weather and sunscreen make this the perfect summer cruiser and a real pleasure to drive.

The wheels and tires are new Bonspeed gray “color forged” Huntingtons, 20”x8.5” in front and 20”x10” in the rear. The wheels are wrapped with high performance Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires, 245/40/20 (F) and 275/35/20 (R). This wheel/tire set is worth well over $4,000. The tires come with an extended warranty from Discount Tire and are bolted on with 20 Gorilla locks. Included in the sale will come a set of 15”x8” rally wheels and tires as well, freshly painted black and complete with recently polished center caps and new beauty rings. The tires on this set are new as well.

The doors on this truck open and close as they should, which can be a real problem in some of these Blazers since so much depends on the torsion boxes keeping things straight when you have the top off. The body is super straight, pay close attention to the pictures to see how beautifully the lines of this truck all flow together. The exterior fuel filler was shaved, and moved to the rear interior. It also has a Goodmark cowl induction hood, and if interested I will include a regular hood with the sale. Finally, the truck has personalized California plates marked “1972 C5,” that of course will go with the truck. It has upgraded LED brake lights as well.

This Blazer has many other exterior details but the pictures say more than words. I give you 38 pictures on this page, but if this is not enough for you just email me to send more (for serious buyers of course).
