TRUCK INTERIOR

All the original gauges work in this 59 Apache. Fuel, Temperature, Amps, Oil Pressure and Speed all function as they should. All the original switches work as they should, including the headlights, floor foot highbeam dimmer switch, original heater knob, cigarette lighter and windshield wipers. The choke is not hooked up, since it is not needed in Southern California. The radio is an after market Chevy labeled AM/FM cassette player that sits in the original uncut dash. The radio antenna is amplified (non-extending internal) and sits behind the drivers seat and can't be seen.

The day/night rear view mirror is original, as well as the window handles. The door handles and the gray armrests are quality repros from LMC truck. The steering wheel is original, and although it has a few cracks (that do not affect strength) it can be easily repaired to like new. The four speed shifter comes up from the floor and is topped with a black knob.

The bench seat, door panels, sun visors and headliner are all nicely upholstered in a thick gray cloth, and the seat has gray vinyl along the bottom edge. The floor carpeting is a medium blue that complements the exterior color.

The rubber around all the windows including the large panoramic rear window is great - no cracking at all. The door hinges are in great shape and the doors open and close without problem.

The chrome trim is all in there, the door sills, door strikers, etc. are all in excellent shape - this was a quality restoration.
