85 Chevrolet Silverado SWB Fleetside Pickup CLEAN

PRICE:

SOLD!

This is currently a great looking and reliable daily driver work truck... The engine has just been professionally replaced with an original, strong running 305. I don’t know the mileage, but the motor does not smoke at all, no leaks, sounds great, and starts up right away.

And it has thousands invested in her; at least 3 times more than what I am asking. This 85 Silverado is painted dark blue. It has scratches, dings and marks that any real work truck will have, but it still looks really nice, and it has an aggressive stance like old chevy hot rod. As part of my original restoration plans I was going to get new paint, and it would look better than new.

The classic shape of this truck makes it sought after and this particular model is becoming more popular every day with enthusiasts. The interior is very clean, and I have left in the Kenwood door speakers, and tuner head unit cage for when you out in your own audio system. It comes with the Silverado package of power windows and locks, and these all work. The tires are older, and it sits on a set of 15x10 custom wheels. All the dash gauges work (including the rare analog clock), as well as the backlights and courtesy lights.

Truck comes with the following extras:
  • The brakes just redone less that 700 miles ago.
  • The entire truck was rewired.
  • New battery.
  • Recently installed Beltech drop kit with drop spindles in front and shackles in back, as well as new NITRO drop shocks. This is the correct way to lower these trucks and does not take away from ride quality. The drop kit alone cost over $500.00, nit including installation.
  • Kenwood CD/MP3 player head unit and 2 Kenwood 4” speakers in the door.
  • Recently installed Viper 350 alarm.
  • More modern looking Suburban front grill with smaller square headlights. This really set this truck apart from the rest.
  • Registered and tags are good until June of 2006.
  • Comes with smog legal Edelbrock headers.
  • Dual exhaust out the sides behind the rear wheels.
  • Dual gas tanks.
  • Secretly located “kill switch.”
  • After market dash pad.
The truck is currently registered in California under my name and the tags are up to date. I took out the AC and the cruise control, but everything is there to put it back in.

I can deliver within 100 miles of San Diego, CA for free. Otherwise local pick-up only, but I will help coordinate the transfer. Sales are final. This truck comes with no guarantees, neither stated nor implied. It is sold “as is.” I just sold my 1959 Apache as well, and this was a major sale.
