The engine work on this truck has been another interesting story.

When I brought her home the engine was dressed up real nice, but it was more for show than go. The 350 with a mild RV cam was not enough for me to be happy with.

After debating for months between dropping in a 383 stroker, or air bags, I decided to go with the air bags and building up the 350.

I came up with a plan... At that time my daily driver was the 85 Silverado. I had poured hundreds of hours and dollars into that 350.

I decided to sell the 85, but before selling I pulled the engine and put the original 305 back in.

I took all the HP parts off the 350 in the Blazer, and now, combining all the best parts from the 2 engines, I'm building a real nice 350. Louie at Car Connection is a master builder, and here are a few pics of the work in progress.

For now, after taking off the best parts from the original engine, this is what I have left over. This picture is what it looks like today. The engine is solid and good enough for now.
